- Spring break work was given to students by 3/25: a HW, a take-home quiz and an extra-credit assignment.  ALL will be due the day we return from break; students may turn it in early!

- Monday: finish up muscle fibers, start naming

Week of 2/19: Finishing up Muscle physiology

Week of 2/11: Muscles still

- Focusing on 9.3 and 9.4 with the biochemistry of muscle contraction, the anatomy of skeletal muscles and the role of genetics and training in muscle fiber type.

Week of 2/4: Muscular

- Completing notes on physiology of muscles contraction this week.

Week of Jan 28: Start Muscular System (Ch. 9)

-2nd Quiz of the quarter (a big one!) is on 1/29 (skeleton and joints)
- We will discuss the anatomy and physiology of muscles this week.
 

Week of Jan 14: Qtr 3 - Joints (Ch. 8)

- Students will select teams to work on the joints project - presentations are 1/22 and 1/24
-  There is one HW due on F 1/18, another due M 1/28; same days as the first two quizzes of the quarter
- Last week in Jan we will start the Muscles unit (ch. 9)

January 2013 - first week back is last week of Qtr 2!

- There are 3 "things" due the day we return from break: a HW, a Take-Home Quiz and an extra credit assignment

Week of 11/12: Thanksgiving is almost here!

-We watched a live knee replacement last week - very cool!
-Currently working on the skeletal system unit (ch. 7 and 8)
-Have HW due 11/13, and 11/16
-1st quiz of the unit on Friday 11/16

Week of 10/8:

- there are quizzes usually every Friday - this week's is on chapter 17
- There are two HW assignments due this week, one on Wed. and one on Friday
